Barbara Shakespear

Barbara graduated from University of Buenos Aires with a first class honours degree and registered as an architect in Argentina in 2000.

Barbara worked for three years at Hamiltons Architects as Project Architect on key projects including a luxury villa development in Mallorca, a mixed-use masterplan in Birmingham and a residential tower in Old Street, London.

In 2010 Barbara joined Rafael Viñoly Architects, where she spent three years working on the 20 Fenchurch Street Tower (aka walkie-talkie) project in London and was involved in the planning submission of the scheme and RIBA Stages D, E and F.

Since 2013 she has been part of the Useful Studio team, working on several residential, commercial and education projects.
