Bridge concept design and development identity for Grosvenor.

Drawing on our expertise in bridge design, community engagement and social impact we supported Grosvenor with their strategic masterplan for a large development site in the southeast.  Our proposal for the bridge was informed by local industry and craft as well as the technical challenges of designing connections in flood plains. The abutments are profiled and distributed regularly to enable flood waters to flow through uninterrupted. Materials are warm to the touch and detailed by referencing the local craft. 

Through our research for the bridge design, we gained an in-depth understanding of the community, the history and the current trends. Building on this we also carried out a development naming exercise for Grosvenor, to help with establishing a locally led character and identity.
