Our seventh project for Isleworth & Syon School we were again successful with our CIF Bid, securing funds in a very competitive process for a series of improvements across the estate to support teaching in Drama and Music and provide much needed additional space for dining, socialising and group learning.

Building reuse played a big part in this transformation such that only a small area of additional development was required to significantly transform 3 key departments across the school.

Through careful phasing we consolidated previously disjointed curriculum spaces, freeing up area to provide new dining and social areas. It was recognised that providing a series of dining ‘rooms’, linked by open passages and colonnades would provide separate areas for the lower and upper schools and sixth form. The sense of ownership and distinction have elevated the enjoyment and functionality.
