Buckinghamshire New University are a Founding Member of Nature Positive Universities, a global network of universities established by the UN Environment Programme and the University of Oxford.

We are developing a green campus masterplan to support ecosystem restoration. The masterplan will provide a framework for immediate and longer-term interventions that will support biodiversity and nature recovery.

Increased greening and high-quality public realm will better integrate the campus into the town centre, improve connectivity and provide health and wellbeing benefits for students, staff and the wider community.

There is an aspiration to design out the car, as part of supporting sustainable transport options and active lifestyles.
