We worked on a high-profile site in Istanbul that considered the potential re-use of an existing building alongside a significant tower expansion. 

The project brief called for a lively mixed use tower including residential, hotel, office and public amenity with a reinvention of the ground plane to attract better pedestrian use and a strong street presence.

The scheme looked at a detailed façade design in response to daylight and solar shading requirements as part of a holistic approach to sustainable design. The patterning has been designed to respond to the sites history as well as the greater cultural influences.
