As part of our ongoing relationship with St Mary’s, we transformed the main entrance to provide a high-quality, welcoming arrival space that portrays the values and identity of this unique University.

The transformation of the existing reception was achieved through the removal of accumulated finishes and loose clutter to reveal the original façade that characterises the space. The addition of simple, robust, high-quality materials complements the existing brick and stone and ensures this highly-trafficked space is low-maintenance. The slate tiles and oak panelling and furniture are used in their natural state providing rich colouring without additional finishes.

A considered approach to branding, display and wayfinding, developed with our sister company, Thomas.Matthews, completes the space.
