A collaboration with our sister company Useful Projects to prepare a report on the benefits of density, that has now been formally adopted by Milton Keynes Council.

A study for the MK Futures 2050 Commission and MK Council that demonstrates the potential for incremental and modest in-fill development that could more than double the density of Milton Keynes.

This approach could support thriving neighbourhoods with improved streetscape and public transport, while protecting the town’s unique character and green spaces.

Our report positions Milton Keynes (MK) in context as one of the UK’s fastest growing cities, identifies opportunities for growth and, through reference to successful precedents, sets out approaches for appropriate, considered land intensification that can provide social, economic, and environmental benefits to the city.
