Tessa Lynch

Architect

Tessa joins Useful Studio as an ARB registered Architect, and brings experience in the design and delivery of low-energy buildings, particularly in the retrofit housing sector.

Tessa has sought out community centred projects throughout her career, previously specialising in the education sector prior to relocating to London from New Zealand. During her university studies, Tessa developed an approach to design for wellbeing in university spaces through engagement and co-design processes. In practice, she is motivated to explore design to support physical and mental health, and look at ways to embed social impact beyond the project brief.

She is excited to develop this through the studio's projects in education and commercial sectors, following a regenerative and circular mission to design.
